The Swimming Northland Presentation Meet is held each July including the presentation of trophies and Service Awards.
The Life Membership and Awards Committee is responsible for selecting Northland Swimmers for trophies and our Officials and Coaches for Service Awards based on the Criteria for each award.

The awards Committee is also responsible for nominating Northland swimmers, coaches and officials for the Konica Minolta Northland Sports Awards and the ASB Northland Secondary Sports Awards. Sport Northland is ultimately responsible for selecting winners but requests information of our top three achievers.
The criteria for nomination for the ASB Northland Secondary Sports Awards for Northland swimmers is based on the Highest FINA points in any one event at the NZ Open Championships, or an international Open Meet.
If no Northland swimmer competed at NZ Opens then the same achievement at National Age Group Championship level.
Selection of highest achiever for the Konica Minolta Northland Sports Awards must be 16yrs or over, unless in exceptional circumstances, (for swimming that is to have a swimmer compete at NZ Opens or above) and the swimmer must be competing at an open level - again for swimming that is to compete at NZ Open Championships or above. Swimmers must be registered to Swimming Northland and competing for SN.
Nomination of a Northland Swim Coach is to have a swimmer compete at NZ Open level or above and must have coached that swimmer for a minimum of six months.
Nomination of a Referee is to officiate at National and/or International Swim Meets.
Clubs can send in nominations to the Northland Awards Committee for consideration. Any nominations are sent to Sport Northland from the RSO.
Kauri Club nominations - these must now come through Swimming Northland. Nominated swimmers will be sent out an application form to complete and return for signing to the Awards Committee.
These will then be sent to Sport Northland for consideration by the Kauri Club Assessment Panel.
